Our Highschool Conference

KnightMUN XXIII

Every year, UCFMUN hosts a high school conference in November at the University of Central Florida. KnightMUN is a learning experience that helps students learn about international issues and public policy through public speaking and debate. Students will tackle complex problems such as Global Hunger, Human Rights, and the pursuit of Arms Proliferation.

KnightMUN allows students to immerse themselves into three types of committees: General Assembly, Specialized, and Crisis. While all three tackle diverse problems, these different committees will deliver a unique and different style of debate for each one of them. Delegates must decide how their actions might reflect upon the real world through any of these committees.

This conference is staffed by college student volunteers who come from UCF and various other schools around the state of Florida. This conference serves as an opportunity to give back to the community and teach students the importance of fostering healthy debate, being a leader, and enjoying the fun that Model UN provides.
